When applying for this job please reference Job#2014-2412. We're seeking a Life Enrichment Specialist for our neighborhood group homes for people with developmental disabilities. Life Enrichment Specialists provide direct care and support to the people we serve to help them achieve desired lifestyles and increased levels of independence, productivity, and social/physical integration.
Tasks include assisting with personal care including personal hygiene, bathing, food preparation, laundry and house keeping; scheduling activities and accompanying persons served; ensuring ISP goals are met and the information is documented; completing paperwork for program documentation; and similar and related tasks.
The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED; be able to lift, push, and pull 75 pounds consistently throughout the shift; have the ability to relate effectively with the people we serve; be able to respond to crisis situations; and be able to meet agency driving requirements.
