Scope and
Responsibilities:
As part of the Security & Privacy team you will have the opportunity to work on cutting edge technology projects designed to improve the consumer experience on Nike online properties. As a Security Expert Engineer your role on the team will be to perform security vulnerability assessments (manual & automated) of web applications and services. You will consult with technical and business teams to ensure online consumer experiences meet security standards and are in compliance with privacy policies. You will also have the opportunity to lead initiatives that will establish new global security solutions, services and standards. Additionally, you will be a security subject matter expert that will give guidance to business, development and operations teams. 463921
Qualifications
Experience Required:
- 8 years of experience in Application Security or administering web-based applications and servers.
- At least 4 years of experience with secure cloud based computing
- At least one of the following:
- CISSP, CEH, OSCP, OSCE, GPEN, CPT
- Familiarity with Web Application Testing tools such as WebInspect, NTOSpider, Checkmarx and AppScan
- Experience looking for security issues such as Cross Site Scripting, SQL Injection, Cookie Manipulation, Buffer Overflows, etc.
- Familiarity Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publications
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP ports and protocols
- In-depth familiarity with Windows and Unix Operating Systems
- Working knowledge of firewalls and other Network Security products
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Preferred
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree preferred in finance, engineering, math, statistics, information systems
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycles
- Strong knowledge of project management frameworks
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage time effectively
- Strong team leadership and influencing skills.
- Ability to develop and communicate recommendations to management
- Ability to translate technical security vulnerabilities into business risk
- Strong problem-solving and conceptual thinking abilities
- Strong ability to analyze information and data
