Consonus Pharmacyis based in Milwaukie, Oregon and is hiring a Billing Representative - Facility Biller/Census Specialist to join our team.
This is a full-time position that will work Monday - Friday. Some over-time may be required during busy times in a month.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Answer billing questions (i.e. phone calls) ensuring that security and confidentiality are maintained for responsible parties and nursing facilities.
Maintain consistent relationships with the nursing facilities to ensure accurate payor/census information on all residents.
Review daily inquiries and census reports provided by nursing facilities and ensure that all residents' payor sources are correct to maintain accurate and timely billing.
Review routine reports and ensure billings are correct prior to running final statements.
Ensure all month-end cut-off demands and timelines are met
Resolve any customer disputes
Reconcile all facility A/R accounts and work aged balances
Qualified candidates will have experience with the following:
Experience in a billing setting working with client accounts
Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
Strong computer skills
Strong written/verbal communication skills
Customer focused attitude and excellent phone etiquette.
Knowledge of basic accounting, billing and insurances in the healthcare field.
Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to problem solve in a variety of situations.
Knowledge of pharmacy operating systems is preferred.
Certified Pharmacy Technician license and/or higher education are preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
