Hello! I have a great opportunity for a Direct Hire Placement with a great company in the Portland/Milwaukee area.
This company has been paying a CPA firm to do their close out for the last 4 years, and it is extremely expensive. They are looking to hire someone who can transition their books back onto their hands in about 6 months or so. They do about 30-35 million in business a year, and are a leader in their field!
This is a HANDS ON position not a CFO position. You will be expected to roll up your sleeves and dive into the numbers, while heading up an accounting team of 6.
Their company has two sides of business, one involves management of large projects, and the other sees about 3,000 work orders a month (1/2 construction, 1/2 service orders) The ideal candidate for this position is very confident in their abilities, and enjoys a challenge!
Working hours: 8-5
Summary of
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite
Proficiency in Timberline Software preferred
Experience in the construction Industry
Excellent written & verbal communication

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
