Paladin Consulting is currently hiring for anInventory Control Clerkto join our team working onsite at our client's office located inTigard OR.
Work Hours 8 am- 5 pm
Position
Summary:
Cultivate partnership type relationship with customer to facilitate on site inventory management for Client products, Assist the Account Management Team in tactical customer management. Ensure customer specific account requirements are met. Visit customer locations, receive calls, listen to, and analyze customer needs and preferences; provide the appropriate information and response and capture the relevant data.
Primary
Responsibilities:
o Provide effective customer service with a friendly and outgoing approach while answering questions and complaints in a professional manner
o Take Inventory and produce replenishment orders of product.
o Put away new inventory and co-ordinate with logistics for delivery of product.
o Proactively respond by notifying customers of problems with their order
o Develop comprehensive knowledge of products
o Execute all procedural steps by using the automated system, reference materials, and other documentation to capture and deliver accurate and complete information
o Assist in the smooth transition of new account to the Account Management Team
o Understand Customer's Purchasing, Accounting, Receiving, and Accounts Payable procedures
o Will maintain stockroom at customer's site on routine basis
Qualifications
Basic:
o High School diploma or GED
o Good oral and written communication skills, i.e., listening and team building
o Self-motivated and driven to succeed in a competitive market
o Proven time management skills, with the ability to self-motivate and organize daily routine
o Flexibility to adjust to customer's buying styles and develop relationships based on trust
o Strong personal computer (PC) and Microsoft Office Suite skills, e.g., Word, Excel,
o Customer service oriented attitude
Physical requirement:
o Ability to lift 50 pounds multiple times daily
o Will be required to walk a large campus daily to monitor and replenish stock rooms and paper cabinets
Must have own transportation, lift up to 50 lbs., high school education
