The Garden Cafe at Adventist Medical Center is seeking the ideal candidate(s) to help with our growth in one of Portland s top hospitals!Come join us as we graciously and warmly serve our patients and customers, create healthy and unique cuisine, and efficiently prepare and present delightful food offerings.
Position Overview:
The Cashier is responsible for accurately operating our cash registers and handling cash, checks, and charge sales.This individual also assists in setting up the hot and cold food stations in preparation for meal times, restocks cafe supplies, and assists with cleaning the cafe and dining room.
Qualifications:
Must be a high school graduate or equivalent (GED)
Must be able to read, write, and speak conversational English
Must have current Oregon Food Handler s Card.
Three years of experience in food service operation using electronic cash register and serving customers.
Weekend rotation expected.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
