1.0 FTE; Mon - Fri, 8:30am - 5:00pm; Salary Range: $49,731-$53,000/year; Location: Downtown Portland.
Functions/Duties of Position
This position manages all administrative, operational, and outreach aspects of the Avel Gordly Center for Healing, including but not limited to personnel administration, facilities, grants and contracting, budgeting, fiscal management, and strategic planning. This position reports to both the AGCH Clinic Director and to the Department of Psychiatry Administrator.
Job Requirements
Required:
Bachelor's degree.
Two years'' management experience in clinical setting.
Proven financial management, grants management, and contracts management experience.
General experience performing human resource functions at the management level.
Demonstrated experience in successfully supervising and mentoring staff.
Experience in successfully leading teams and developing and implementing systems and procedures.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
Familiarity with HIPAA guidelines and patient confidentiality issues.
Knowledge of medical billing systems.
Demonstrated ability to function well in a multi-cultural environment.
Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external parties, to successfully juggle multiple duties, and to make independent decisions within established guidelines in a frequently hectic environment.
Demonstrated ability to compose effective correspondence and reports.
Intermediate skills in MS Office (including Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Intermediate skills in Oracle.
Professional appearance and demeanor. Exceptional customer service abilities.
Preferred:
Management experience in an academic medical center setting.
Experience recruiting, interviewing, and evaluating staff in a union environment.
Detailed knowledge of mental health/addictions treatment systems in Oregon, including public funding, commercial insurance, and compliance reporting.
Ability to analyze financial data to make recommendations regarding fee structures, contracting, and other business decisions.
Knowledge and ability to utilize web based and print based media for program marketing.
