We are looking for an experienced, energetic and motivated Warehouse Clerk/Driver for our Thrift it Donation Center. We are a non-profit thrift store that supports Volunteers of America Oregon, as a Warehouse Clerk, we must rely on your outstanding organizational skills to keep goods flowing in and out in the most efficient manner possible. Drivers must transport merchandise and pick up donations from a variety of locations. Drivers must place an emphasis on customer service as ambassadors for Volunteers of America. No CDL required.
The Warehouse Clerk/Donation Driver is responsible for warehouse organization and planning, volunteer training, preparing and storing recyclables, waste management, flow of product to the production team, donation intake and storage from retail, truck route and processing drop off site. The Warehouse Clerk/Donation Driver will work closely with the Donation Center Manager and Driver to keep the warehouse organized and maintain good workflow. The Warehouse Clerk/Donation Driver will also provide relief coverage to Driver position.

Requirements
This position requires a high school diploma or G.E.D.
Must demonstrate ability to operate a forklift through certification or previous experience.
Knowledge of the use and application of moving apparatus such as hand trucks and furniture dollies required.
Prior experience in warehouse management or organization desired.
Must pass agency driving clearance to move and drive agency vehicles.
Experience operating a delivery van preferred.
Must demonstrate a reasonable combination of the following skills and abilities: good judgment, perceptiveness, map reading skills, the ability to follow directions, to work successfully as part of a team, and to develop and maintain positive relationships with customers.
