Functions/Duties of Position
Postdoctoral Fellow: Skeletal development and disease
A talented and highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow is sought to carry out research focused on molecular mechanisms of skeletal development and disease and on the development of new therapeutic strategies for treating bone growth disorders. The projects employ mouse disease models, cell culture assays and biochemical and molecular analyses of cell signaling. Experience in histological and molecular analyses of animal tissues and in chromatin immunoprecipitation, gene expression analyses and proteomics is desirable.
The position is in the laboratory of Peter Hurlin at Shriners Hospitals for Children on the Oregon Health & Science University campus.
