This is a faculty position
Part-time; .10 FTE; one day a week; salary commensurate with experience; Location: Marquam Hill.
Functions/Duties of Position
Duties include:
Examine assigned patients in the child psychiatry clinic.
Provide weekly supervision to child psychiatry fellows for cases seen in the clinic.
Ensure that documentation of the ADHD psychiatric appointments are completed.
Attend weekly ADHD team meetings.
Provide consultation to psychology cases as needed.
Facilitate communication with referral sources.
Job Requirements
Position Conditions/
Qualifications:
Must have current Oregon medical license; Be board certified or eligible in child psychiatry; have an active DEA certification.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
Knowledgeable in Evidence-based Assessments and Treatments for ADHD.
Solid foundation in medical and non-medical treatments of ADHD.
Proficient in using computer based medical records and data systems.
Familiar with HIPAA Compliance requirements in institutional settings.
Proficient in providing consulting diagnosis and treatment recommendations.
Expert in the use of psychopharmacological therapies.
Proficient in using the biopsychosocial model in formulating ADHD cases.
Experience teaching and supervising child psychiatry fellows.
Ten or more years child psychiatry clinical experience.
