Functions/Duties of Position
Key
Responsibilities:
Create and maintain Access database(s) to document and coordinate work with health professional candidates. Extract data, compile statistical information and create reports for internal and external purposes.
Perform initial reviews of documents and applications sent to recruitment incentive programs and determine if applicants or sites meet the criteria for participation in program(s). Reply independently or forward appropriately. Accept all initial phone calls regarding recruitment incentive program(s). Respond to inquiries and refer as appropriate.
Develop procedures and forms necessary for efficient functioning of the recruitment incentive programs.
Assist in development and production of program marketing materials. Maintain social media presence. Prepare updates for web site.
Conduct routine program communications such as information updates and requests for data.
Arrange meetings and associated travel arrangements. Provide logistical support to the Oregon Rural Health Conference.
Support Office of Rural Health (ORH) staff to ensure accomplishment of overall office mission, goals and objectives. Keep team informed regarding work plan and progress. Coordinate activities with the rest of the ORH staff.
Job Requirements
Required:
Four years of general office or secretarial experience; OR An Associate's degree or certificate in office occupations or office technology and two years of general office or secretarial experience; OR A Bachelor's degree and two years of general office or secretarial experience; OR An equivalent combination of training and experience.
Experience planning, performing and coordinating a complex program.
Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Word, Excel and Access.
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree.
Experience in the field of financial aid or lending.
Advanced database development experience.
