Qualifications:
Must have current/valid Oregon Maintenance Electrician's license
Must have current/valid driver's license
Must be willing to join union.
Minimum of 2 years experience as a millwright or plumber
Must be able to do shift work including weekends with variable start times
Must be able to work overtime and holidays
Must be willing to wear necessary personal protective equipment as required as required
Must be willing to perform repetitive and physically demanding task for extended periods such as lifting, walking, climbing or stooping
Must be willing to work outside in the elements and in confined or high spaces
Must be willing to work in tobacco free environment
Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
Basic Tasks:
Maintenance of programmable controller and relay based cargo elevators, tram and control systems
Light electrical and PLC
Welding
Plumbing
Lubrication
General maintenance
Read technical schematics and manuals
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
Benefit package offers health and pension plans, vacations, holidays, bi-weekly pay schedule, funeral and jury duty pay policies, safety shoe and eyeglass allowances. We currently operate 7 days per week from 5:30 a.m-4:00 p.m. and current schedules allow four-10 hour day shifts (subject to change) bid by seniority.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
