Functions/Duties of Position
The Computer User Support Analyst II provides extensive overall customer service to all internal and external T&P; customers. This position is responsible for technical support, diagnostic help, and operating instructions to all computer users, as well as maintaining, improving, and overseeing all internal and external programs, systems, and computing resources. This position has two main functions - exceptional customer service and computer user support. The position provides extensive customer service, outreach, and education with heavy customer service interactions in person, by email, and over the phone. This position provides technical support of all T&P; systems as well as data input/ analysis/reporting/management, data base application administration, website management, and technical responsibilities related to all areas of Transportation and Parking and computer user training and support and process enhancements for Transportation and Parking related programs and services. This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, accountability, ability to build and maintain relationships, and organization. This position must demonstrate a high level of customer service abilities, interpersonal skills, conflict resolution skills, empathy, confidentiality, and integrity.
Job Requirements
An Associate's degree in computer science or related field; OR Two years of computer support experience; OR An equivalent combination of training and/or experience. Intermediate proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; report writing applications, demonstrated customer service skills; typing at least 50 WPM and 10 key calculator by touch. Basic knowledge of relational data base theory. Ability to synthesize large amounts of data into clear and concise reports and presentations. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and managers inside and outside the department. Previous knowledge and experience with HTML/CSS and Content Management Systems. Previous knowledge and experience with T2Flex or equivalent parking management software. Previous knowledge and experience with pay station maintenance/support.Preferred: One year of experience in a transportation and parking related office with focus on metrics gathering. Crystal report writing experience.

This position requires the ability to lift/move equipment (up to 25-50 lbs.)
