The new entity, whose name has yet to be announced, will be a global, Fortune 1000 company serving dealers in over 100 countries. This position will play an important role in supporting the newly independent organization's continued growth
Lead Application Security Architect
The Converged Security Architecture (CSA) team within Dealer Service's Global Security Organization (GSO) is responsible for the research, design, and standardization of Dealer's integrated global protection, product security and security infrastructure. The Technical Security Services team is responsible for leading these efforts for Dealer Services worldwide across a broad set of security disciplines providing an integrated security ecosystem to enable, build, detect, defend, and respond to business impacting security, fraud, and operational risk issues. The TSS team must have strong skills in conducting technical analysis of security and business problems, as well as threats, incidents, investigational, workforce protection and other general security related issues. The members of the TSS team must also have the ability to communicate well, motivate and lead cross functional teams, participate in coordinating response and defensive actions over a variety of security incidents, and disseminate technical information as appropriate in support of Dealer Services's critical business, go to market, and operational infrastructure and assets.
Develop integrated security fabric that enables a global threat, risk, and protection architecture across multiple go to market, enterprise, and operating platforms
Design and implement technical security solutions to mitigate security threats and risks that may impact the business
Research Dealer specific threat issues through threat modeling and counter intelligence profiles to determine and define appropriate technical protection standards
Design operationally ready best practices security solutions to secure the corporate infrastructure
Work with the business and divisional security leadership to design and build operational protection platforms globally that enable and extend the businesses ability to service and protect our customer's interests
Develop architectural security standards and best practices documentation required to support the security program across multiple divisions, product lines, and operational theaters
Work as a team with other members of the GSO as well as members of IT/R&D; to implement lifecycle assurance processes that enable an integrated approach to embedded security capabilities within the Dealer global infrastructure
Work with members of the GSO workforce protection and investigative support teams to research, develop, and implement key business protection technologies that detect and deter fraud, assure the safety of the workforce, and integrate seamlessly into a converged monitoring, alerting, and response platform
Works with Operational Facilities security to provide cross platform monitoring and converged service enablement
Performs other related duties as assigned
## Experience, Skills, Academic
Bachelors' Degree or industry equivalent work experience in international security engineering in a converged security program.
CISSP or applicable experience in the Converged Security field
8-12 years of experience with in-depth architecture/engineering skills in the Coverged Security field
Experienced in designing, deploying and maintaining security architectures in enterprise class organizations
Thorough understanding in internet technologies and highly versed with web development best practices.
Previous software engineering/architecture experience (Java or .Net) preferably with focus on security, and strong problem solving skills
Deep knowledge and understanding of application security vulnerabilities (SANS, OWASP)
Detailed understanding of IAM strategies
Detailed understanding of architecting security requirements for built for the cloud products
Deep knowledge of encryption methodologies and algorithms to support web products
Understanding of Data bases and security best practices
Technical Skills (desired):
Candidates should be well versed in Networking, Windows and nix environments
Expert understanding of TCP/IP and network communications
Expert systems and network administration skills
Experience as a application vulnerability tester or penetration tester
CEH, CISSP, CSSLP, GCIA, GPEN, GWAPT, Fortify Certified Associate / Professional / Expert
Deep understanding of API security best practices
