This is a Research Position Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm; 1.0 FTE; Salary Range: $13.88 - $27.86/hour; Location: Marquam Hill.
Functions/Duties of Position
The primary duties of this position will investigate the mechanisms by which pulmonary surfactant lowers alveolar surface tension.
Job Requirements
Required:
Bachelor's degree with major courses in physical sciences OR an Associate's degree and 2 years of relevant experience.
Basic laboratory skills.
Preferred:
Senior thesis demonstrating ability to work independently.
Prior experience in a research laboratory.
Prior use of computers to run external devices, such as robots or scientific instruments.
