This position is subject to a collective bargaining agreement with the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME)
This is a relief (.003 FTE) position. Schedule is variable depending on need. Salary range will be $15.78 to $21.15/hour. This position is located on the Marquam Hill campus.
Functions/Duties of Position
To provide support in preparing the cash deposits from 16 units as well as preparing numerous reports associated with the cash counting function. This position will also assist in other office duties including but not limited to entering IBS data, preparing meal cards, and distributing pay checks.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED:
A High School Diploma or GED
Two years of bookkeeping experience which includes cashiering and/or cash handling or completion of college level bookkeeping courses and 6 months bookkeeping experience, including extensive cashiering and/or cash handling.
Ten key, Computerized point of sale systems (cash registers), and basic excel experience
PREFERRED:
Experience working with the MICROS cash system.
Additional Details
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Will work 5 days a week (may include some weekend shifts). Works in an office setting.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & EQUIPMENT USAGE:
Ability to sit for extended periods of the shift, ability to operate 10 Key, calculator, as well as operate a computer for Excel and basic email operations.
