Job Description
Director of Information Technology
The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. They are not intended to be construed, as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required of personnel so classified.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:
Key member of the management team responsible for providing the technology vision and leadership in developing and implementing Information Technology initiatives that support the organization's business objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION (Other duties may be assigned.):
- Improve and evolve business systems and provide cost-effective solutions which include: ERP Systems; LAN Systems; Communication; EDI; Distribution; and E-Commerce.
- Lead visioning and strategic planning for the IT department and support corporate priorities through technology solutions.
- Ensure SOX compliance for all IT systems.
- Recommend, develop, implement and support cost effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization.
- Establish IT department goals, objectives and operating procedures.
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with internal and external customers, providing solutions whenever needed (24hrs/day - 7 days/week).
- Manage operating and capital IT budgets. Maintain established spending within the annual IT budget. Communicate guidelines to employees within the IT Department. Establish methods and procedures to provide budget to actual monthly reviews.
- Define and communicate IT plans, policies and standards for acquiring and implementing IT systems.
- Participate in the contract negotiations and maintenance of ongoing relationships with a variety of vendors, always driving for cost efficiencies.
- Provide multiple levels of training on specific business processes such as order to shipments, forecasting to delivery of finished goods, and ERP and analysis. Provide training for functional areas such as customer service, distribution, and finance.
- Prioritize highest-leveraged process improvements, reducing non-value added costs and improving customer service levels.
- Develop enterprise wide disaster recovery and business continuity plan.
- Stay abreast of new technologies and educate executives on IT best practice.
- Ensure attainment of the objectives of Information Technology through management of employees within the IT department. Establish goals and responsibilities with each employee based upon corporate and departmental goals. Communicate quarterly with each employee updating their progress towards their goals.
SHORT TERM PRIORITIES:
- Re-engage Microsoft Dynamix AX internal leadership team to address system performance and open bugs and enhancement projects.
- Develop strategy to move existing AX version to current during 2015
- Partner with Retail and Demand & Supply teams to ensure success on high-priority projects
- Create and communicate vision and strategy for IT during 2015
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance or related field required; advanced degree a plus
- Technical knowledge of open systems, LANS, WANS; able to integrate multiple systems for a business solution.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language. Must have demonstrated leadership skills and influence capabilities.

years of progressive information technology management experience; experience with systems design from a hands-on perspective and overall business view.
- Must be dependable and team oriented.
- Must conduct oneself in accordance with Company's Core Values.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
