This is a Faculty position
M-F, Occasional evenings and weekends; 1.0FTE; Position may be filled as an Assistant or Associate Professor dependent on the qualifications of the selected candidate. Salary shall be commensurate with rank.

Functions/Duties of Position
The duties of this position are in support of the missions, goals and objectives of OHSU and the School of Medicine and include: participate in the education of medical students and house staff in accordance with assignments to the department by the Curriculum Committee and Chair; care of patients with hematologic and oncologic disease; establish and maintain a program of scholarly activity directed toward improved understanding of the causes, detection and treatment of hematologic and oncologic disease; carry out basic research in division research space assigned by the Division Head; participate in administrative committees and councils of the OHSU as approved by the Chair and Division Head; engage in public service through consultative activities with non-university groups with knowledge and consent of the Chair and Division Head.
It is anticipated that the job will be made up of the following components: Clinical, Teaching Research/Academic, and Service.
Job Requirements
Requirements include a Board certified hematologist/oncologist licensed to practice medicine in Oregon, who demonstrates the background, focus and drive to excel, as well as the desire to deliver the best care possible to cancer patient in a clinical research environment. Our ideal candidate must possess a proven track record of teaching, basic, clinical or population research and patient care excellent with a focus in the treatment of Breast Cancer.
