Functions/Duties of Position
The duties of this position include:
Full-time faculty position providing pediatric care to infants, children, and adolescents at Doernbecher Children's Hospital's General Pediatrics Clinic, with some coverage of the Mother-Baby Unit
Provide leadership as the Medical Director for the Doernbecher Children's Hospital General Pediatrics Clinic
Provide patient care, including consultations with physicians at other regional medical centers
Pediatric faculty members at OHSU provide clinical teaching and supervision of pediatric residents and medical students, and other trainees, in the clinic. This position will educate both in the clinical environment and through conferences, seminars, and interdepartmental activities. There are also many opportunities for scholarly activity and research. Candidates with a strong interest in academic pursuits are encouraged to apply.
