Position Description:
Manager for SOX Compliance group.
Partner with IT and Business Leadership to manage/control/perform/audit
activities related to SOX regulations, laws, policies, and procedures
applicable to overall enterprise.
Responsibilities:
Implementation and management
of SOX compliance program.
Audits information technology
(IT), platforms, and operating procedures in accordance with
established standards for efficiency, accuracy, security and
risk mitigation.
Coordinate with managers to
support the development and execution of internal audit plans
and programs.
Interprets federal, state and/or
international regulations as they apply to information systems,
platforms, and IT operating processes, practices and procedures.
Evaluates IT infrastructure
in terms of risk to the organization and establishes controls
to mitigate loss.
Plans audits, analyzes audit
results and tests auditing programs.
Determines and recommends improvements
to current risk management controls.
May revise controls for new
or modified computer applications to prevent inaccurate calculations,
data loss, and to ensure discovery of errors.
Required Skills, Knowledge
and
Experience:
Minimum of 10 years experience
in SOX control and process documentation, testing and remediation.
Strong organizational and planning
skills.
Strong interpersonal & influencing
skills and an ability to work in a team environment.
Good communication skills (written
& verbal) with all levels of the organization.
Ability to work with minimal
supervision and work with tight deadlines.
