Flexo Prepress/Graphics Coordinator

Experienced Flexo Prepress/Graphics Coordinator wanted. The successful candidate will have related flexographic prepress or flexo print industry experience.
Purpose: Responsible for the estimating, quoting, job planning, order entry, tracking, shipping, and invoicing of each job to ensure it meets customer delivery time and remains within budget of the approved estimate while making technical and job cost/pricing decisions as they arise with each account.
Essential
Responsibilities:
1. Works directly with customer service to coordinate and ensure proper communication pertaining to job orders.
2. Double checks all job information to ensure quality and customer specifications are being met.
3. Coordinates monthly conference calls. Identifies and facilitates more frequent calls as necessary to address needs of customer.
4. Organizes and maintains customer and company documentation for each job.
5. Maintains, documents, and reports on monthly metrics.
6. Helps resolve and proactively identify customers needs and works to recommend solutions within established guidelines or escalates customers needs to management as appropriate.
7. Adheres to all pertinent quality standards, checks, and procedures of the onsite facility and works to expand programs, as necessary.
8. Understands technical aspects of services and products available to customer and their value.
9. Assists the onsite facility by partnering in providing assistance for projects and miscellaneous assignments.
10. Seeks opportunities to identify sales opportunities.
11. Assists in supporting onsite plateroom activities, as necessary.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Solid communication skills, both verbal and written.
Vast understanding of the flexo industry, prepress and printing.
Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously.
Demonstrate independent judgment within given parameters.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Solid computer skills in both Mac/PC environment.
Education and/or
Experience:
Bachelors degree in Business, Graphic Arts or related field, with at least 3 years of experience in customer service. Any combination of education and/or work experience will substitute for minimum requirements. Prior experience in printing/publishing is preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
