Hours: 80 hrs/pp, 9:00a - 5:30p
Job Details:
The ideal candidate must haverestaurant experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced short-order station efficiently, and with excellent customer service skills.Enthusiasm and creativity for working with food and great presentation skills desired.High school graduate or equivalent (GED), graduation certificate from an accredited culinary institute preferred, especially in the area of Vegan and Gluten Free dish creation, andCurrent Oregon Food Handler s card required.
Job Details:
A.Prepares assigned breakfast, lunch and dinner food items as needed for all services.Does advance work for upcoming meals.Special attention is given to presenting food items in an attractive manner.
B.Work as part of a team in all areas of department to assure smooth workflow, high quality product, and customer service.
solving and continuous improvement for all areas of the department.
D.Serves food to customers making sure that it is served quickly, attractively and in accordance with department sanitation standards.
E.Work closely with entire Bistro staff to continually enhance customer service and overall experience.
F.Spends time cleaning in all areas of the Bistro using approved agents and methods.
G.Must be able to handle customer questions regarding food items in a friendly, courteous, tactful manner.
H.Obtains needed supplies from storage and production areas and keep all service areas of the Bistro well stocked and looking neat and clean.
I.Operates electronic cash register handling cash, checks and charge sales. Must be accurate in ringing up meals and making change.
a cash-out report at the end of the shift to account for cash and other transactions.
K.Works closely with Executive Chef/Supervisor for fulfillment of recipe creation for all service areas.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
