The Division of Political Science in the Mark O. Hatfield School of Government at Portland State University seeks applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Political Theory beginning fall 2015. The position is open with regard to subfield specialization, although we are particularly interested in candidates whose expertise complements existing strengths within the division, school, and university. Teaching responsibilities will include a broad range of topics in political theory, including surveys of the history of political thought, with specific courses to reflect the candidates strengths. The position includes teaching and advising responsibilities in the undergraduate and masters degree programs in Political Science as well as the Masters of Public Policy and doctoral program in Public Affairs and Policy.
The Mark O. Hatfield School of Government is part of the College of Urban and Public Affairs, and faculty members are encouraged to participate in inter-disciplinary scholarship within the college. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
