M-F, Occasional evenings and weekends; 1.0FTE; Salary commensurate with experience; location: Marquam Hill.
Functions/Duties of Position
The duties of this position are in support of the missions, goals and objectives of OHSU and the School of Medicine and include: participate in the education of medical students and house staff in accordance with assignments to the department by the Curriculum Committee and Chair; care of patients with hematologic and oncologic disease; establish and maintain a program of scholarly activity directed toward improved understanding of the causes, detection and treatment of hematologic and oncologic disease; carry out basic research in division research space assigned by the Division Head; participate in administrative committees and councils of the OHSU as approved by the Chair and Division Head; engage in public service through consultative activities with non-university groups with knowledge and consent of the Chair and Division Head.
It is anticipated your job will be made up of the following components: Clinical/Teaching: 58% FTE; Research 32% FTE; Service 10% FTE.

Qualifications:
Board certified hematologist/oncologists who demonstrate the background, focus and drive to excel, as well as the desire to deliver the best care possible to cancer patients in a clinical research environment. Our ideal candidate must posses a proven track record of teaching, basic, clinical or population research and patient care excellence. Highest priorities include opportunities for clinical/investigators with a focus in the treatment of Lung and GU cancers.
