This is a Postdoctoral Position
1.0 FTE; Salary: $42,000; Location: Marquam Hill
Functions/Duties of Position
The postdoctoral position involves a blend of assessment and treatment activities. Assessment duties will involve the use of a wide range of assessment tools. Referrals for child assessment will come from a variety of clinics including cranio-facial disorders clinic, hemophilia clinic, neurodevelopment clinic, pediatric neurology clinic, pediatric oncology clinic, spina bifida clinic, as well as many others. Most child evaluations will include assessment of the child's cognitive functioning, behavioral functioning, psychological functioning, and developmental level.
Treatment activities will focus on outpatient screening and consultation with pediatric oncology survivors and their families to assess psycho-emotional and neurodevelopmental functioning and determine need for services. May also provide inpatient consultation to the medical floors of DCH.
The postdoctoral fellow will have access to a multitude of career development opportunities through the CDRC and OHSU, including a full range of didactic offerings. Fellow will have the opportunity to supervise practicum students and participate in research. Further, opportunities to offer community based trainings to parents and service providers are available.
Job Requirements
Required:
PhD/PsyD in Psychology from APA-accredited program. Completion of APA-accredited doctoral internship.
Previous experience with standardized assessment tools for cognitive, developmental, and neuropsychological functioning for preschool aged children through adolescence.
Assessment and behavioral treatment of youth.
Behavioral/cognitive-behavioral treatment.
Residency contract approved by the Oregon Board of Psychologist Examiners.
Preferred:
Clinical Psychology.
Hospital based care.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
