Summary:
Responsible for the design, development and delivery of technology training programs for end users of company software applications. Analyze training needs and create training materials in a variety of formats.

Essential Functions:
Analyze training needs including task, audience and content analysis.
Design and develop training materials for classroom, self-paced, and interactive e-learning formats.
Design and develop user documentation including user guides, on line help, static web sites, quick guides and other formats.
Train end users regarding company systems and applications including train-the-trainer sessions.
Interview training participants and stakeholders and prepare evaluation documents.
Create, administer, and analyze skill/knowledge tests and surveys.
Participate in a self directed team environment. Collaborate with team members on business requirements and solutions.
Travel as required

Scope and Accountability:
Occasionally, incumbent's decisions and actions moderately impact the company's revenue or operations. Decisions and actions may have a strong impact on reputation, and/or customer satisfaction.
Incumbent makes recommendations, gives direction to others, and performs work independently or with minimal supervision.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Bachelor's degree in instructional design, technical communications, education, generally required. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training and experience.
4 years of experience in technical training design, development and stand-up delivery in a project based environment. Certificates in training and development desired.
Experience in logistics and/or supply chain management is desired.
Knowledge of adult learning principles and technical communication language and principles.
Hands-on experience creating static content web sites using Dreamweaver or similar web development tool,
Experience creating on-line help tools using robo-help or other applications
Solid skills using Adobe Acrobat, graphics software applications and Microsoft Office
Strong communication skills (oral and written); communicate effectively with peers, end users, and all levels of corporate management. Solid active listening and presentation skills.
Good technical writing and editing skills.
Good project management, time management, and prioritization skills.
Ability to establish business relationships and work effectively with business and client contacts in a dynamic self directed team based environment. Strong interpersonal skills.
