Senior Network Engineer / Architect
An Insurance company in the PNW is looking for a Remote Senior Infrastructure Network Engineer to join their team! You will be working cross-functionally with Architects and Engineers to research, plan, design, document, deploy, and improve highly secure LAN and WAN which supports business customers, on-site employees, and remote workers.
You will utilize both physical data centers and cloud environments, so understanding Azure will be key.
They are on a multi-year journey to modernize key infrastructure and transform how we deploy and operate day-to-day networks used by external customers and internal workers alike.
This is a unique opportunity to help define and drive network automation and DevOps into our future state infrastructure.
Need to be familiar with SD-WAN, which supports 38
sales offices and call centers nationwide.
The team recently implemented Cisco ACI for their data centers, which has provided consistency over the last few years and will continue to need support / upgrades in the future.
Must be comfortable speaking with team members, Directors, and occasionally VP's within the technology organization.

Success implementing SASE architecture components.
Experienced in Lean, Kanban, or Agile methodologies.
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline or equivalent experience.

years of proven experience and success as a network leader partnering with security and operations to deliver complex solutions and robust, reliable network services.
Cisco, Palo Alto, F5, Azure or other network related certifications.
Expertise with software defined networks such as Cisco ACI or SD-WAN.
Proven, continued success designing and implementing a broad array of enterprise network technologies and components:
Infoblox, F5 load balancers, Palo Alto firewalls, core and edge devices, LAN, WAN, wireless, switches, routers, MPLS, DNS, VPNs and network security.
Success automating network infrastructure configurations via Ansible and/or Python.
Proven experience in Azure and cloud to on-prem hybrid networks.
Recommended Skills Agile Methodology Ansible Architecture Cisco Dns Dev Ops Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
