Environmental Health & Safety Specialist

We've teamed up with a local manufacturing partner to find an Environmental Health & Safety Specialist.
In this role, you'll take charge of ensuring safety and compliance across all operations within the facility.
As the EHS Specialist, you'll craft and enforce EHS protocols, conduct routine audits, and provide crucial training to our workforce.
Your responsibilities will include investigating incidents to prevent future occurrences and driving continuous improvement in safety standards.

Responsibilities:
oDevelop, implement, and oversee EHS policies and procedures in line with industry standards and regulations.
oConduct regular environmental and safety audits to pinpoint potential hazards in our semiconductor manufacturing process.
oProvide comprehensive training and guidance to employees, ensuring strict adherence to EHS regulations.
oInvestigate accidents and incidents, reporting findings, and suggesting corrective actions.
oCollaborate closely with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure equipment and machinery meet stringent safety standards.
oMaintain meticulous records of inspections, incidents, and training sessions.
oParticipate actively in emergency response planning and drills.
oStay abreast of the latest safety regulations and industry best practicesoServe as the primary point of contact for all safety-related concerns within the facility.
oMaintain and submit necessary documentation such as OSHA Log, Stormwater permit, and Hazardous waste management records.
oFoster a culture of safety throughout the organization, collaborating with all levels to ensure its continual improvement.
Requirements:
o3
years of experience within Environmental Health & SafetyoManufacturing industry experience is highly preferredoIn-depth understanding of regulations and standards specific to semiconductor manufacturingoAnalytical and problem-solving abilities.
oProficiency in conducting training sessions and effectively communicating with individuals at all organizational levels.
oStrong skills in incident investigation and reporting.
oExcellent organizational and record-keeping capabilities.
oCertification as a Safety Professional (e.
g.
, CSP) or similar qualification highly desirablePay Details:
$90,000.
