As our Technical Recovery Consultant, you will performa key role in the NIKE Technology Corporate Information Security group andsupport NIKE's Technical Recovery Management function. The successful candidatewill:
- Drive development of technical recovery solutions based on business goals and strategies.
- Participate in evaluation of continuity risks and assist in the development of mitigation steps.
- Assist in the development of a technical design considerations and recovery plans for related projects and/or programs.
- Apply technical knowledge and expertise towards the development of technology recovery plans and solutions.
- Demonstrate expertise in technical recovery concepts and practices and become recognized as a subject-matter-expert within the organization.
- Facilitate the development of technical recovery plans and capabilities.
- Help to develop best practices and identify leading technologies within the organization to enhance recovery solutions.
- Influence the adoption of technical recovery practices throughout the organization and help champion the program with management, key stakeholders and business representatives.
- Assist in the development and testing of business continuity plans for IT business areas.
- Work to promote new technologies to help build greater operational resiliency.
- Participate in the IT Crisis Management process through the development of plans, execution of exercises and ongoing support of crisis events.
- Participate in the development and execution of exercises to validate organizational readiness.
- Have a proven track record of successful participation in technology projects while managing deadlines.
- Help in the development of materials to promote recovery practices and education key stakeholders.

Qualifications
What We're Looking For

- Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 5 years of experience being a part of and/or leading technology projects and teams.
- Experienced working on technology related projects with a focus on recovery solutions and strategies.
- Proven track record of being results orientated with demonstrated ability to achieve aggressive goals.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to gather relevant data and information, actively listen, dialogue freely, verbalize ideas effectively, negotiate situations successfully, and manage and resolve conflict.
- Disaster Recovery experience.
- Business Continuity Management experience.
- Strong experience with strategic planning
- Crisis management experience.
- Ability to effectively work cross-functionally with business and IT managers.
- Proven presentation and facilitation skills.
- Technology experience with the ability to build consensus with team members and business partners.
- Must excel working in team-oriented roles that rely on ability to collaborate with others.
- Experience working successfully in a highly matrixed work environment.
- Must be a self-starter with demonstrated ability to take initiative.
