he Solution Architect also serves as the functional lead, guiding our customers and our team through the software development lifecycle. As part of their role, the Solution Architect will lead requirements sessions and transform the requirements into user stories that highlight the features of the proposed solution. The Solution Architect works closely with the Product Owner and Technical Architect to understand requirements and enable the authoring/development of quality solutions that meet the requirements. Then they will use their advanced knowledge of the Salesforce platform to help craft a design that makes the best use of what Salesforce offers. Once development begins, the architect's involvement will include a mix of hands-on configuration and oversight of work assigned to other team members and will continue through the build and testing phases to ensure the solution comes together as designed. Responsibilities:
Translates business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platforms and products Hands-on ability to configure Salesforce to implement the required functionality and the overall solution design Detailed understanding of the Salesforce data model with the ability to plan data migrations from legacy systems and other Salesforce implementations Provide detailed level of effort estimates for proposed solutions. Articulate the benefits and risks to a solution's feasibility and functionality Provide hands-on, expert-level solution design support to developers Design and manage the execution of test plans to ensure a quality solution is delivered Follow and understand new Salesforce product and technical capabilities resulting from product releases and acquisitions Provide expertise during sales efforts to assist with scoping the overall design and providing the technical level of effort to deliver the solution Participate in marketing events (e.g., sales meetings) Demonstrate thought leadership through publishing, public speaking, and client presentations Coach and mentor junior technical and functional team members Assist with the candidate interview process Assist with aligning team resources to scheduled projects Qualifications 7
years of CRM industry experience Deep understanding of the Salesforce product suite including mobile, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, App Cloud, Experience Cloud and AppExchange solutions Minimum 5 years of Salesforce experience and 3
years in a Solution Architect role Ability to lead requirements gathering sessions with clients and bring new insights, ideas, and best practices into discussions Experience developing a comprehensive technical design based on the requirements uncovered during requirements gathering, leveraging all the capabilities of the Salesforce platform Ability to design and optimize business processes and integrate business processes across disparate systems Excellent client-facing written and oral communications skills Active Salesforce certifications or ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies and tools such as Scrum, Jira, and Rally Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 5
years' operating as an externally facing consultant Experience developing project approach using industry, functional, and technical knowledge Able to effectively direct available resources in a manner that promotes a strong team environment and ensures the team is properly utilized Experience designing solutions leveraging Lightning Components (Aura or Web), Visualforce and Apex Skills that would be a bonus Service Cloud, Field Service or Health Cloud certification Field service experience Industry experience Experience with web services:
JSON, XML Experience with some or all the following:
A C-based language (preferably Java), SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (any popular framework)
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Systems Architecture & EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
