Job Details Description We're looking for a Project Manager to manage and execute water and wastewater projects. This position will be placed in our Portland, Oregon office. Responsibilities include civil/mechanical engineering and project management for a variety of projects to provide planning, evaluation, design and construction related activities for water/wastewater and related facilities. In this role, you will supervise the work of others and provide technical support in specialized areas. Our ideal candidate will be a leader in technical engineering, project management, client management, aspects of business operations and business development activities. Typical projects could involve:
Municipal water and wastewater design and optimization Master planning for water and wastewater systems Pumping stations and piping system process/mechanical and hydraulics design Biosolids and residuals treatment and dewatering Alternative energy power sources and generation Other responsibilities will include:
Develop scope, schedule and budget for design work orders Lead teams to develop client relations, pursuit plans, proposals and presentations including project understanding and approaches, and level of effort estimates Lead teams to develop and prepare specifications, detailed design drawings, reports, planning, and engineering services during construction Technical and quality control review of study, planning and design documents Prepare calculations, models and other technical deliverables for civil/utility related projects Utilize internal project management tools and resources to provide successful management of large projects that meet or exceed the project success metrics Coordinate with project managers, client service managers, and other project personnel from other disciplines. Direct the work of, communicate effectively and coordinate with, project teams including other disciplines (drafters, designers and other engineers) Execute activities on projects for master planning and modeling of water/wastewater/conveyance systems Oversee and direct the work of engineering teams and subconsultants assigned to projects. Conduct field investigations, perform condition assessment evaluations, assist with asset management and provide business consulting guidance to municipal clients Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and for professional meetings. Desired Skills and
Experience:
B.S. degree required, in related engineering field (Mechanical, Civil, Environmental) Minimum of 15 years of progressively increasing responsibility in related experience Professional registered engineer with the ability to obtain profession engineer registration in Oregon within 6 months Demonstrated strong project management skills; PMP certification a plus Successful marketing, proposal writing, proposal management, and public presentations experience a plus Successful record of delivering projects on schedule, budget and meeting the client's expectations. Ability to provide oversight and guidance of project management fundamentals. Strong written and oral communication skills with demonstrated ability to conduct effective presentations and written report preparation Previous supervisory experience preferred Benefits and Other Compensation:

$250K -- $500K+
