A day in the life:
You will consult customers on their insurance needs and match the correct coverages, products, and benefits to convert leads into customers.
Network to create a pool of prospective clients from various sources like social media, cold calling, using referrals, etc.
Establish customer relationships and follow up regarding their needs.
Work with a mentor agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
Attend training classes to hone your skills.
Learn day to day skills of being a small business owner
Qualifications:
This position will be a good fit for you if you are:
A motivated salesperson:
When a lead comes in, you skillfully pick up the phone and use your expertise to turn prospects into happy, confident clients.
Property & Casualty and Life & Health licensed (we can help you navigate this process) Successful in meeting sales goals (at least 1-2 years of sales experience) Excellent in communication skills - written, verbal, and listening.
A confident self-starter who works well independently Comfortable dealing with a high volume of outbound and inbound phone activity.
Enjoys being on a team and contributing to the success of others.
Able to complete licensing prior to training (unless already licensed) Able to complete and pass a background check.
Preferred Skills and Abilities:
Experienced in sales and marketing.
Knowledge and familiarity with the Insurance industry Proficient in Microsoft products (or quick to learn new systems) Compensation Package:
$20-25 per hour depending on licensing, skills, and experience.
