N/A Essential Job Functions Set up rollers on forming table.
Cast single color glass out of the furnace.
Cast glass for all sheet glass styles.
Cast consistent sized sheets.
Trim excess glass from ladle.
Spread molten glass on forming table.
Load sheets of glass into the lehr.
Maneuver Tekta buggy to move ladle from furnace to mill and cooling trough.
Monitor and adjust furnace controls.
Be capable of setting up all equipment used in the Production area.
Understand and be able to react to equipment problems.
Understand and be able to react to quality problems arising at the hot end.
Have a thorough knowledge of the Casting functions to train new employees.
Other Job Functions Understand the variables of casting temperature, furnace pressure and atmosphere.
Stir the furnace.
Knife the sheet to release it from the receiving table.
Able to make lehr temperature changes.
May assist in draining of tank.
General clean-up of factory work area.

Assembled Goods Supervisor; Floor Manager Supervises:
N/A Essential Job Functions Data entry on the frit database and accurately Pull all the feedstock for the upcoming crushes based on the bi-weekly schedule Complete paperwork neatly and completely; Read QC databases to verify what was pulled Put away and organize the incoming feed stock(tips/tails/sheets/cullet) Operate stand up forklift Daily housekeeping Glass cutting Other Job Functions Receive and store all of the incoming packaging materials for frit:
jars, boxes, lids, buckets Organize or reorganize the frit bulk on the warehouse racking Requisites (Education, Training, Experience, Skills) Must be a good listener and have the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to work in a team environment is essential.
Ability to follow safety procedures.
Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs.
Perform basic math calculations (daily):
