Production Welder
Located in Portland, ORSalary:
$23-24/HR DOEOur company is seeking a skilled and experienced MIG (Metal Inert Gas) Welder to join our team.
As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for welding various metal parts and structures according to engineering specifications.
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret engineering blueprints, sketches, and specifications Set up welding machines and equipment to ensure proper settings for the materials being welded Weld metal parts and structures using MIG welding techniques Inspect welded joints for quality and make necessary repairs Use hand and power tools to grind, cut, and clean welded parts as needed Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 2 years of experience in MIG welding Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform quality work Knowledge of welding safety practices and protocols Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment Familiarity with hand and power tools used in welding Ability to lift up to 50 pounds We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages, as well as opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.
