The Roving Compliance Assistant assists the Compliance department in various administrative tasks and audits.
This position works in collaboration with the Lease Up department to ensure compliance throughout lease up projects.
This position will work at the Corporate Office as well as on various Property locations.
This role exhibits great service behaviors by modeling the Cascade service model consistently.
Primarily responsible for final move-in files to be audited and organize for lease-up activities.
Assist with compliance/investor audits of various projects, including audit responses, report corrections, tenant documentation gathering and finalizing audit requests.
Provide clerical and administrative support in the compliance and lease up departments, paying close attention to detail and providing accurate work.
Provide excellent customer service.
Perform property, unit, and tenant data entry into Cascade software for reporting and data analysis.
Provide assistance with existing properties by reviewing, copying, scanning, and setting up tenant files.
Maintain the current audited tenant files stored in the corporate office shared drive.
Support site Managers in proper policies and procedures and day to day questions regarding tenant files.
Assist in review and update of all compliance related forms.
Other duties as assigned.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Travel requirements vary, but can be up to 50% of the time.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Affordable Housing Experience preferred (LIHTC/HUD/RD).
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Valid Drivers License and insurance is required.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS Ability to operate basic office equipment such as telephones, computers, 10 key, photocopier, and fax machine.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
