In this Local Leader role you will manage and support client sales and relationship development, project execution, financial performance, and staff career development for the Oregon/Southern Washington municipal practice.
You will work closely with the Northwest Area and Western Business Unit leadership teams to help execute the regional business plan and meet company objectives including growth, profitability, and diversification targets in the area and region.

Detailed Description:
The Local Leader plays a critical role in leading the engagement of all employees in an office location, regardless of the group to which they belong, driving organizational health and enabling the virtual enterprise from the local office level and across the business.
You will demonstrate the ability to lead BC employees and work collaboratively with other leaders in the best interest of our Company.
Manage the day-to-day operations of the Portland office Connect with the business units, enterprise groups, and corporate groups as necessary to bring the right resources to bear on client pursuits and project delivery Support delivery of Portland business metrics which include new sales, contracted sales, business development budget, utilization, revenue, and profit from operations Work closely with the Project Management Office to drive on plan project delivery for the business Manage company risk by ensuring compliance with the Company Risk and Quality Policies Help drive sales by partnering with Client Service Managers, Area Practice Leads, and the marketing team Supervise and mentor employees Work with other leaders and supervisors in the office to drive resource performance management, succession planning, and employee engagement Attract, develop, and retain top talent Hold monthly staff meetings to inform and engage all staff assigned to the office Model BC Values to our employees and clients Be a visible leader in the environmental industry in the office geography Desired Skills and
Experience:
B.
S.
degree in a Science or Engineering (Civil, Environmental, etc.
) required, M.
S.
degree desired Registered Professional Engineer (P.
Eng.
) or equivalent required 10 or more years of increasingly responsible experience in project management, business development, talent management, and operations Experience with water/wastewater/water resources/infrastructure design, planning, and studies along with leadership on projects Ability to successfully manage clients, projects, and teams in a collaborative fashion Ability to interface with Brown and Caldwell's local, regional, and national practitioners as well as help mentor junior staff Self-starter, results-oriented and able to work under tight deadlines Successful marketing, proposal writing, proposal management, and public presentations experience a plus Previous supervisory experience with strong written and verbal communication skills required Valid driver's license and good driving record required Salary Range:
The anticipated starting pay range for this position is based on the employee's primary work location and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, and education.
These ranges may be modified in the future.
