How this role transforms workplaces:
Serves as primary point of contact for Human Resources and on-site liaison between the client New System Laundry and Xenium.
Manages and implements policies, procedures and various Human Resource related projects while promoting diversity, legal compliance and ethical Human Resource best practices supporting our mission, culture and strategic direction.
Employee Relations:
Responds to Human Resource questions from both managers and employees.
Maintains communication with Xenium HRBP/HRAR on technical and strategic Human Resource issues/recommendations.
Works with supervisors/managers in providing coaching (on the spot training), leads the conflict resolution process, employee counseling, investigations, RIF planning & implementation and termination meetings, as appropriate, which includes the preparation and maintenance of appropriate documentation.
Leads the administration of people systems:
full cycle recruiting, performance management, benefits and compensation support, records/file management, leave management, communication, recognition, team building, workers compensation and safety programs.
Chairs the safety committee.
Manages worker's compensation claims from completion and submission of the 801, incident investigation, to early return to work through modified job offers.
Maintains appropriate records, OSHA logs and coordinates with Safety Consultant/Coordinator to ensure compliance, injury prevention and effective safety programs (examples:
coordinates safety/OSHA trainings, voluntary inspections, hazard identification and program reviews).
Directs employee communication via written and verbal mediums including meeting attendance, quarterly newsletter, posted communication, email alerts, policy briefings, etc.
Contributes to workplace culture development through identification and implementation of employee development, training and recognition programs.
Manages one FTE in a recruitment position.

years progressive HR Generalist-level experience; or equivalent combination of related education and experience.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Ability to provide exceptional customer service and work independently.
Possess excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
Possess strong interpersonal, organizational, attention to detail, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Display empathy while maintaining firm boundaries.
Ability to work independently while developing and fostering critical interdepartmental relationships.
Preferred skills and certifications:

The starting salary for this role ranges from $78,000-84,000/year based on skills/knowledge, years of experience, and ensuring pay equity within the organization.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
