Overview:
TRC Advanced Energy (TRC), a nationally known energy consultancy, is seeking a Project Associate to support our single-family new construction energy efficiency programs.
The right candidate will be assertive, personable, detail-oriented, and a self-starter, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks.
This position requires the ability to review project submissions, process program incentives, and communicate effectively by phone and email to coordinate with internal team members and external customers.
This position is based in the Portland metro area, starting as a work-from-home position, potentially shifting to an in-office position in downtown Portland, OR.
TRC will provide IT equipment, but the candidate's home working location must have reliable internet access capable of video calls (minimum of 500 kbps upload/download speed) and allow for minimal distractions.

Responsibilities:
Provide application and enrollment assistance to participants and track their participation status Create and review energy models to analyze energy use in homes in compliance with program guidelines Support project incentive processing, including data entry, tracking payment status and mailing checks Build and maintain relationships with verifiers, property developers, contractors, and building owners Provide project tracking, reporting, and other administrative duties Maintain and enter program data in a customer relationship management database Maintain knowledge and expertise in eligibility, enrollment, and program processes Contribute to high-quality technical reports suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences Coordinate and attend outreach events, workshops, tradeshows, and webinars
Qualifications:
Excellent attention to detail, with ability to follow established protocols Strong organizational, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills Polished and assertive phone and email manner Ability to present information clearly, concisely, and make unfamiliar concepts accessible to others Strong computer skills, with proficiency in MS Office and database applications Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) databases, preferred Knowledge of energy efficiency and sustainable design, preferred Eligible to work in the United States Home working environment with reliable, high-speed, internet connection and minimal distractions #LI-DRW1 EEO Statement:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
