Our Construction Contract Administrator is responsible for working collaboratively across organizational functions to effectively manage the approval process of construction contracts and their administration.
This position is also responsible for the documentation and administration of prequalification for subcontractors and ongoing issuance of any required subcontracts.
It requires relevant work experience and exceptional organizational abilities, attention to detail, ability to adapt to change, proactive communications, and follow-through to completion.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Construction Contracts Review contracts and pass-down provisions identifying needed changes and items requiring Estimating, Project Management, and the Safety teams' attention.
Review pre-bid contractual information to identify areas of risk and contribute to language, as necessary.
Calculate estimated OCIP/CCIP deductions and complete enrollment forms.
Identify OCIP/CCIP, prevailing wage, certified payroll, and other requirements and verify they have been included on the work order.
Calculate bid/performance bond estimates and request issuance of bonds, where required.
Distribute a copy of the contract to insurance provider for review and approval of the insurance requirements.
Work with insurance agent to obtain Certificate of Insurance per contract requirements, manage Certificate of Insurance on projects, and track those needed to be reissued each year.
Manage the contract review process across the project team and highlight pertinent information.
Discuss resolution of any contract discrepancies with Operations Manager and drive the communications with the customer.
Incorporate agreed upon modifications and submit final contract for approval.
Distribute partially executed copies as required including to the project file, forwarding appropriate documents to Accounts Receivables.

) Process job starts to ensure accurate information is imported and provide final approval for all change orders within Project Manager software.
Track participation in all OCIP/CCIP programs ensuring we have program documents and Certificates of Insurance on file for coverage being provided.
Maintain and manage OCIP enrollments and closeouts in 3rd party Insurance Provider interfaces.
Subcontractors Manage approved subcontractor database, work with Safety to review and approve subcontractor safety program, and Financial and Tax Administrator to review and approve subcontractor financial health.
Issue master subcontracts, subcontracts where required, manage releases to master subcontracts and change orders as required.
Ensure pass-down provisions inclusive of OCIP/CCIP enrollment by subcontractors are incorporated into subcontracts, appropriate credits are applied, and enrollment occurs where required.
Work with insurance agent to establish guidelines, ensure compliance, obtain Certificate of Insurance from subcontractors, and track those needed to be reissued each year.
Maintain Master Subcontract Agreements with subcontractors.
Maintain prequalification program with preferred customers, including supporting documentation.

Experience with construction-related contract management.
Background in construction accounting, billing, purchase orders, and change orders.
Detail oriented, and consistently follows through on direction and responsibilities.
Ability to work within specific processes and procedures while also adjusting with regularly changing and unique circumstances.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and take a diplomatic approach.
Embraces learning and seeks assistance when needed.
Advanced user of MS Excel, MS Word, and Bluebeam or Adobe Pro.
Experience with Timberline and DocuSign is preferred.
Work Hours This position's normal work hours are approximately 7:
30 am to 4:
00 pm Monday through Friday.
Compensation Competitive salary range of $60,000.
00 to $70,000.
