General Description:
Market new prospective client accounts to carrier partners.
Support commercial lines sales associates.
Provide marketing analytics, negotiate carrier coverages, and finalize marketing and client onboarding process.
Responsibilities:
oWork closely with sales associates to understand prospect's commercial lines insurance needs.
oDevelop submissions to carriers and obtain quotes.
Respond to underwriters' inquiries.
oNegotiate terms with carriers on prospect's behalf.
oFinalize the marketing process and prepare appropriate proposal presentations.
oBind coverage for clients and execute client onboarding process.
oDevelop knowledge of insurance markets on behalf of USI.
oDevelop relationships with carrier underwriters and representatives.
oServe as technical expert on market trends, pricing practices, and other underwriting policies.
oMaintain a high degree of accuracy in agency management systems and technology platforms.
oKeep current with industry, new product information, legislation, coverages, and technology.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
o10 years
experience in commercial property & casualty insurance agency.
Comprehensive understanding of all property & casualty insurance coverages, underwriting, and rating concepts.
oCollege degree preferred.
oMust hold state Property & Casualty insurance license.
oIndustry designations such as ARM, CIC, CPCU preferred.
oAbility to carry out complex tasks with many concrete and abstract variables.
oWorking knowledge of internet-based programs.
Knowledge of Sagitta/ImageRight preferred.
oStrong working knowledge of Microsoft office suite of products.
oAbility to work in a fast-paced, team environment with minimal instruction.
oSets priorities and manages workflow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate work.
oAbility to maintain relationships with clients, co-workers, carriers, vendors, and other business contacts.
oStrong verbal and written communication skills.

Salary Range:
$80,000-100,000 This is a Paid Time Off/Paid Sick Leave eligible position.
18 days per year.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
