Associate Attorney - Workers' Compensation Bar Admission:
Must be admitted to the Oregon State Bar or Washington State Bar (OR and WA bar preferred)
Experience:
1-7 years of experience practicing law, with some experience in workers' compensation law preferred. About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and motivated attorney to join our growing workers' compensation practice. As an Associate Attorney, you will play a key role in representing injured workers and protecting their rights. You will work closely with senior attorneys on all aspects of a worker's compensation case, from intake and investigation to negotiation, hearings, and litigation. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled lawyer to gain valuable experience and make a real difference in the lives of our clients.
Responsibilities:
Conduct client interviews and investigations. Develop and implement case strategies. Draft legal documents, pleadings, and motions. Conduct legal research and analysis. Prepare for and attend hearings and depositions. Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and employers. Represent clients at hearings and, if necessary, in court. Maintain accurate and timely case files. Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel. Stay up-to-date on changes in workers' compensation law.
Qualifications:
JD degree from an accredited law school. Bar admission in Oregon or Washington State (OR and WA bar preferred). 1-7 years of legal experience, with some experience in workers' compensation law preferred. Strong analytical and writing skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to providing excellent client service.
