Program Manager for global computer software company in Portland, ORThis team is seeking a detail-oriented individual to join as a Program Manager responsible for overseeing the delivery of IP blocks in silicon engineering.
The role involves interfacing with clients, providing program/project schedules and status reports, and organizing cross-functional activities to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget constraints.
Responsibilities:
Interface with clients on technical matters and project subject matters from initiation through delivery.
Provide program/project schedules and status reports.
Create functional specifications, requirements, and/or scope for implementation decisions.
Provide technical and/or analytical information to Product Managers as needed.
Organize cross-functional activities to ensure timely project completion.
Manage/oversee projects as required.
Education/
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is required.
Minimum 3-4 years of experience with basic program management techniques such as Gantt charts and waterfalling.
Minimum 3-4 years of experience with Microsoft tools including Excel, MS Project, OneNote, and Power BI.
Minimum 2 years of experience with silicon engineering.
Experience managing silicon design projects.
Familiarity with managing analog/mixed-signal IP.
Proficiency in tracking projects through execution phases, milestone reviews, and negotiation of deliverables with internal SoC Customers.
Ability to roll up common indicators for tracking silicon design health.
