American Lumper Services is a growing nationwide warehouse management company.
We are looking for an experienced Team Leader/ Manager to Support and Inspire our warehouse team.
You will hire, train, encourage, motivate and mentor our team of 80-100 people in our Portland, OR location.
Shift:
Monday-Friday - hours are 2nd shift, 11am to 7pm with some flexibility.
Pay rate:
$26/hr Team building, time keeping and conducting new hire training Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in daily work.
Influence and develop people Communicate job expectations and coach employees Determine staffing levels and assign workload Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems Maintain items records, document necessary information, and utilize reports to project warehouse status Identify areas of improvement and establish innovatively or adjust existing work procedures and practices Computer skills required

Must care about people! Proven work experience as a leader Desire to lead - people and operations Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques Knowledge of warehouse Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data Hands-on commitment to getting the job done Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations Strong organizational and time management skills Self Motivated, Self Directed, Proactive Attention to detail is a must Must have reliable transportation Must be able to lift 50+lbs consistently Must have a positive attitude Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment Perform other duties as assigned.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
