LHH is currently assisting a well-known firm in the Portland area source a Litigation Legal Assistant to join their close knit team! The ideal candidate will have proficiency with Oregon state and federal court rules/procedures, electronic court filings, and docketing/calendaring rules.
Washington experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:
File management and calendaring Drafting and editing legal documents State and federal filing Scheduling, calendaring (including depositions, court dates, case deadlines, conferences and client meetings) Address and handle communication with clients, co-workers, and third parties when needed Maintain calendars, assist with time entries, coordinate travel arrangements and prepare expense reimbursements
Qualifications:
3
years experience of civil litigation experience State and federal filing experience (OR) Salary:
$55,000-$75,000 DOE
Benefits:
Medical, free parking, etc Hybrid:
2 days in office, 3 days remote after training period Pay Details:
$55,000.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
