We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to join our dynamic and collaborative Buyer Experience team.
The candidate will be responsible for continuing to grow our advertising business while delivering amazing customer experiences.
You are passionate about ensuring that new experiences meet customers needs and align with our business strategy.
You will work closely with engineering, design, customer service, and marketing and various other stakeholders across the organization.
You should be empathetic, collaborative, and curious as we build new experiences and improve existing products that power the world's largest e-commerce marketplace.
Responsibilities:
Customer Focus:
Develop a deep understanding of and empathy with the eBay community of buyers and sellers.
Advocate for product experiences that meet their needs and address their challenges with the eBay experiences.
Product Strategy:
Understand and synthesize customer and business needs from market research, customer insights, and business data to inform and drive product strategy.
Analytics Driven:
Help define and drive towards goals for product.
Leverage A/B testing, experimentation, and User Experience Research to deliver data-driven results.
Roadmap Prioritization:
Advocate for high impact product changes for Buyer Growth and deliver to a prioritized roadmap and backlog that addresses customer needs.
Cross-Team Collaboration:
Work with partners across our product development organization, marketing teams, customer service partners, and business analytics leaders to define, advocate for, build, and launch experiences across mobile and desktop platforms.
Cross-Org Projects:
Drive complex, technical projects to successful conclusion.
Be Part of the Team:
Participate actively in standard agile ceremonies (daily standups, backlog grooming, sprint retrospectives, sprint demos, etc.
).
Requirements:
5
years' work experience in engineering or product management delivering highly technical products (preferably in the advertising space).
BS or MS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines or equivalent experience in technical leadership roles.
Demonstrated critical thinking skills and independent motivation.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to drive and implement ideas in a changing environment.
Capable of leading through influence; holding product leads accountable to the greater product goals.
Must have a demonstrable understanding and appreciation of eBay's business model from a buyer and seller's perspective.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York City is expected in the range below.
$135,200 - $205,700Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience.
The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
