? Then we want to hear from you. My client is located right out of Portland along highway 24 and they have an immediate need for an experienced steel fabrication and installation estimator! They offer complete design, fabrication and installation for a wide range of equipment. Their vast customer base ranges from pipe spooling to prototype machinery.
This
position
will work directly with the engineering
manager
and design department. The estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for various projects, ranging in size for steel fabrication and installation. You will take the process from start to finish by reviewing and managing requests, obtaining costs for materials, man hours, and installation labor, along with pricing for sub-contractors service and rental equipment.
Required Skills:
5
years estimation - Steel Fabrication
3 - 5 years field installation experience
Excellent communication - verbal and written
Well organized
Must be a self-starter
Must operate well independently
Must be a strong team player
Must have 5 years' experience in a
job
shop environment
Experience in the oil and gas industry is a plus
Experience estimating material handling equipment is IDEAL!!
Must somewhat enjoy monthly company BBQ's with ribs, steak and all natural hot dogs.

Hours of Operation - Monday - Friday - 8am - 5pm
Compensation: $53k - $65k

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
