Position Description:
Uses advanced design skills
to create secure innovative concepts and solutions that appropriately
reflect company's Network philosophy & standards. Advanced
designing, testing, UAT, Pilot and implementation of projects
is required. Proactively execute upon approved design. Ordering,
tracking, configuring and working to complete execution of project.
Works with Network Architecture, Engineering and Operations team
members to communicates and presents design concepts to various
internal and external audiences with support of Expert Solution
Architects.
Create and own project implementation
and support documentation, in conjunction with the reference
architecture documentation. Must be able to communicate the concept
behind the design to IT and business management teams.
Proactively works with Network
Architecture /Engineering to ensure innovative, secure, cost
effective infrastructure and solutions. Build personal portfolio
of design skills, experiences, and product/process knowledge.
Provides engineering and implementation support as needed.
Acts as a resource for colleagues
with less experience; may direct the work of other staff members
Required Skills, Knowledge
and
Experience:
In-depth Network knowledge and
experience with Cisco / Juniper equipment required
5 years progressively technically
experience in Networking.
Ability to apply and perform
network design, implementation and support of Nexus infrastructure.
Uses best practices and knowledge
of internal or external business issues to improve Network availability
and services
Solves complex problems; takes
a new perspective using existing solutions
Works independently, receives
minimal guidance
