Description
GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for overseeing projects or phase(s) of larger projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Fully competent in the following areas:
Takes active role in winning projects
Working competency in the following area:
Administration and coordination
Project accounting and reporting
Find and develop new business in existing clients/project base
Project management, projects or phases of larger projects
Familiar with scope and project objectives
Familiar with the role and function of each team member
Assembling project team
Coordinating activities of the team
Develops and manages project schedule
Responsibility for all aspects of the project over the life of the project
(Initiate, plan, execute, control, close)
Generates Construction Documents
Developing competency in the following area:
Review and edit of contracts
QUALITY STANDARDS
Adheres to quality standards
Works towards adherence to quality standards
Reviews project deliverables
COMMUNICATION
Contacts are primarily within WHPacific and within own work group and supervisor. Interfaces with all internal and external stakeholders affected by the project demands. Contacts normally concern information exchange of a non-routine nature and have a moderate impact to operations or outcomes. Contacts are normally made on an informal one-to-one basis. Contacts may be either by phone or in-person and contain some discussion about confidential/sensitive matters.
INITIATIVE
This position receives occasional guidance related to overall objectives, critical issues, new concepts and policy matters, consults with supervisor concerning unusual problems and developments, usually functions from a clear set of operating processes or procedures, and have work closely reviewed. Recurring work situations with occasional variations from the norm.
ACCOUNTABILITY
Limited influence on operations, revenue, expense or budgetary outcomes. They are responsible for prudent use of assets. Position involves availability for evening meetings.
LEADERSHIP
Expected to perform all duties and assignments with the WHPacific Values.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES AND SKILLS:

Required abilities, mental activities, skills, Bachelor of Science in Geomatics. Skills and abilities may include math, operation minor or small equipment, reading of directions, etc.
Fully competent in the following areas:
Trimble Business Center
AutoCAD Civil 3D (required)
Microstation and InRoads (preferred)
PLS-CADD Survey Edition (preferred)
Working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word or comparable programs
Effective interpersonal skills
Able to work in effectively in a team atmosphere
Developing competency in the following areas:
Working knowledge of MS Project and MS Outlook of comparable programs
Efficient organizational skills
Able to work in a fast-paced work environment
Active role in winning projects
Introduction to the following areas preferred:
Negotiating skills
Client skills
Understanding of project management including Integration, Scope, Schedule, Budget and Project Accounting, Quality, Human Resources, Communication, Procurement and Risk
Project accounting skills
Understands and uses Resource Loaded Schedules
Understands and uses Earned Value Management
MINIMUM EDUCATION/
Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Geomatics or relevant field required
Minimum five (5) years experience in A/E business
Completion of internal or equivalent project manager program preferred
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Registered land surveyor in the State of OR required
Certified Federal Surveyor (CFedS) preferred

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
