Program Manager

Overview
A Program Manager for our Commercial Program Team is responsible for the execution of multiple client contracts and other client agreements. Additionally, this role will be responsible for managing a team of internal associates and have close coordination with operations, engineering, field and marketing teams. The ideal candidate is a proven self-starter who enjoys a dynamic and fast-paced environment and direct communication with clients. This position reports to the Senior Program Manager and will be based in our Portland, OR office.

Responsibilities
Manage contracts and budgets to ensure compliance and accurate forecasting.
Meet and manage project deliverables to high quality standards, budget and time-line.
Develop and accurately track program budgets and performance metrics, implementation strategies and required analytics.
Proactively communicate program updates and risks with clients and program stakeholders.
Prepare timely, accurate and meaningful status reports for both the clients and management.
Manage in-office and shared-services resources and deliverables .
Conduct regular meetings with staff, provide feedback regarding team member performance and provide documentation for performance goals toward growth and professional development.
Provide mentoring and support of staff development.
Partner with project staff to outline work plans and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
Interface with key internal departments such as engineering, IT, Marketing, and Finance to meet program needs.
Advise customer relationships with account management team.
Facilitate communication between the program and internal teams (engineering and operations) as well as trade allies and partners.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and minimum of 2
years' experience in energy-efficiency or a related field.
Minimum of 1
years in a management or team leadership role including experience with remote staff.
Mastery of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Familiarity with utility incentive programs and application processes and documentation requirements
Demonstrated comfort level with technical project requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders, including program management, clients, and trade allies
Established presentation/public speaking skills
Ability to present complex information comfortably and compellingly to internal and external audiences
Highly-detail oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities
Superior organization and time management skills
Established analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills; specifically in regards to forecasting
Desire to learn and grow within a team environment

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
