INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST, GS-0132-12

In this position, you will serve as an analytical specialist for maritime threats in and around the ports and coastal waterways to produce and disseminate information/ and reports for enforcement in a pivotal policy role from day one. You will represent the division at regional, national and international intelligence and law enforcement conferences. Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team.Typical work assignments include:
Collecting, evaluating, interpreting and integrating data from multiple sources to recognize key indicators of future events that impact USCG operations or related security conditions in the Pacific maritime domain. Fusing all-source intelligence and performing subject matter expert work on areas such as transnational crime, terrorism, geospatial analysis, living marine resources and/vessel targeting. Applying knowledge of the organization for and methods of, collecting intelligence data and of the resources and interests of the intelligence community. Utilizing imagination in relating the collection and dissemination processes to the needs of research, populating databases; researching available intelligence; identifying intelligence gaps, articulates collection requirements; and using analytical tools and research methodologies to form conclusions and predictions. Generating written intelligence assessments for senior decision makers and operational units; reviewing and editing intelligence products prepared by others; and collaborating with other intelligence agencies on mutually concerning threats and issues. You qualify for the GS-12 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience at the GS-11 grade level performing duties such as:
Conducting, researching, analyzing a wide range of raw information and maritime threats. Advising on potential information sources within and outside the intelligence community. Determining which information is relevant; drafting assessments and briefings senior officials on their findings. Analyzing of raw maritime intelligence data. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.National Service Experience (i.e., volunteer experience):

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
